Biography
Kristin Bowen is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to children and adults. She is committed to supporting patients through medication management, psychotherapy, and patient education.
Her professional journey has included nursing roles in emergency medicine, oncology, and mental and behavioral health, as well as work in clinical research, public policy, and healthcare technology. She is specially trained in supporting individuals with substance use disorders and the effects of trauma.
Beyond her clinical work, Kristin is passionate about building healthcare systems that integrate mental health and primary care, expanding access to treatment for at-risk youth, early psychosis care coordination, and promoting the benefits of outdoor behavioral health programs. She believes in creating a safe space with genuine empathy and compassion, collaborating with patients on identifying personal goals and creating individualized treatment plans, and empowering individuals to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.
