Suhair A. Bhatti, DO, MPH

Psychiatrist

Biography

Suhair Bhatti developed an interest in psychiatry while training in Las Vegas when he was able to work with some of the most vulnerable populations meeting at the intersection of medical and psychiatric comorbidities, and found the journey of mental health treatment to be extremely life-changing for his patients and fulfilling in numerous ways. He further developed an interest in inpatient consult-liaison psychiatry where he found the interplay of internal medicine and psychiatry to be a complex but fascinating field that could help provide relief to some of the sickest patients, acutely. Their clinical experience ranges from Napa State Hospital, St. Joseph's Medical Center, and Santa Rosa Behavioral Health Hospital. Furthermore, Dr. Bhatti has presented numerous posters including at the Academy of Consult Liaison Psychiatry and the Muslim Mental Health Conferences.
His mission is to provide empathetic, personalized, and culturally-competent care that focuses on the individual as a person, not simply a patient, in order to provide both acute and long-term relief and stability to allow each person to lead long and fulfilling lives.
